Letterbox Flap The PS30L incorporates a purpose designed letter flap to enable letter post to be delivered when your parcel box is locked, the aperture size is approximately 220mm x 40mm sufficiently large for A4 letters, small packets, and padded envelopes etc. The letterbox flap and canopy has been purposely designed by us and is an integral part of the mailbox, - we've designed our own canopy & flap to ensure that water cannot enter your mailbox - we've preserved the water tight integrity renowned of the PS30 The canopy and flap is alloy seam welded to the mailbox - it is powder coated to match the box and is then finally assembled, - we use stainless steel return springs for extended life and a rubber gasket seal provides a resilient stop for the flap together with weatherproofing. The PS30L may be used similarly to the PS30 however some customers leave their parcel box locked all of the time so that it functions as a standard mailbox, - they also have the added advantage of receiving parcels when parcels are expected. Post Mounting Kit We can provide a post to enable the parcel box to be mounted in areas where a suitable wall is not available The PS30 / PS30L post mount kit is a heavy gauge tubular steel galvanised support suitable for either burial in the ground, for embedding in concrete, or for bolting down onto a suitable concrete surface.
